Here's an update to a story that we posted earlier this summer.

It's great to see that this move is paying off in ratings.  Hopefully, we will see more stations embrace this trend.

As we approach the unofficial start of summer here in the northern hemisphere, stations, especially younger-skewing ones, are gearing up for a busy season.  Here in New York, two CHRs, 92.3 Amp Radio and 103.5 KTU, are poised to go head-to-head as they embark upon a commercial-free summer.  It's a tactic that's had some success in the past, causing us to question: why aren't more stations around the world doing something like this?
