As we take time to reflect on the past year and gear up for a busy 2018, our friends at Nielsen here in the US have provided some interesting findings on the biggest radio formats of 2017 that we wanted to share with our readers:




Given these insights and their recent discovery that “listeners spend 87% of their AM/FM radio time tuned into one of their three favorite stations," it seems that being in Pop CHR, News/Talk, or AC is the optimal path to ratings success with the highly coveted 25-54 demo.
